Join other makers in creating unique and playful science-art to benefit and bring joy to our local and global community! Add the Design Cycle to your list of skills, from identifying a community need, to prototyping, creating and iterating. Pairs of makers utilize VEX IQ® and BBC Micro:bit combined with their own custom made parts to invent a working prototype for others to interact with.
Through Teachable Machine and STEAMLab's A Micro:bit of AI, we provide makers with the confidence to incorporate their own custom AI vision and sound recognition software into their projects. Throughout six sessions makers develop their skills in creativity, coding and invention through Facilitator guided activities, supported collaborative project time, coding/tinkering workshops and exploring Science World's galleries.
