Science World Intermediate Summer Camps

Summer Camps 2024!

Summer Camp is back! And this year's theme of sustainability and community will lead us to imagine, design, and build cities of the future, to investigate climate science, and to become climate heroes of tomorrow!

Join us for a week-long hands-on STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art & Design, Mathematics) learning adventure, and enjoy discovering, experimenting, and investigating climate science right here under the dome!

Camps use a 2 Part Registration process. Making the purchase is Part 1 and this holds your child's spot for the selected camp and collects your payment.

Part 2 requires you to log into the Registration Portal (opens in a new tab) to provide family information, add emergency contact names and complete your registration forms. You'll be able to do so once you complete your purchase. Review the instructions in your emailed confirmation for more information.

We suggest you complete this information directly after booking, then review and make changes to any medical information closer to the camp start date as needed. We strive to make Science World accessible and enjoyable for everyone. To ensure our camps are accessible to all participants, caregivers are asked to inform the camps team at the time of registration of any additional needs or support their child may benefit from. This allows us to collaborate with you ahead of time to ensure the appropriate support is in place for your child.

Science world reserves the right to cancel any bookings that have unfinished registrations 2 weeks before the start date of the camp.

If you do not receive your email confirmation, please check your junk mail folder. If it is not found there, contact our camp team for additional assistance.

STEAM Days of Summer 2024

STEAM Days of Summer is Science World s annual 5-day summer professional development learning program for BC educators. Participants delve into ways of teaching STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art & design, and math) using a cross-curricular approach while networking with colleagues.

Join your colleagues for five full days of hands-on learning centred on STEAM education in your classrooms. Each day you ll participate in dynamic sessions presented by a mix of your colleagues, Science World educators, and local organizations as we dive into the deep end of incorporating the ADST curriculum into other topic areas.
